Mistika awarded us the full content scope for the 2025 Al Burda Awards which fully encompassed; A narrative film to open the ceremony, live coverage of the show, performance visuals for five musical acts and a 20 minute BTS documentary.
the challenge
Time & Budget Limitations: We inherited a budget and scope which was signed off before being awarded the project, which resulted in ambitious expectations and delivery timelines.
Cultural Knowledge & Sensitivity: It was a celebration of Islamic Art under the patronage of H.H. Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan and thus required very nuanced knowledge of both the region and religion.
Ever Evolving Scope: Due to the nature of the events industry, the project was a moving and ever evolving target which required a high degree of agility and problem solving.
